Ralph Love This is so unbelievably great!! A perfect bridge between Era 1 and Era 2! This needs to exist on vinyl or in some physical capacity! It’s amazing! Favorite track: Transcending Morpheus (demo).

Erik327 Honestly wish Era 2 was much longer... this and "Smell of Rain" is by far the most influential and innovative music I've heard in my life. Was a game changer for me. Remember interviewing Mortiis for radio in college over the phone and how pumped he was about "Smell of Rain" even though I hadn't heard it yet. After hearing it, I totally understood his excitement. Favorite track: The Awaken (demo).

about

These are demos of songs that were written, but never properly recorded (nor used) years before the The Smell of Rain album.

These are my earliest (with one or two exceptions, and they don´t really count) attempts at lead vocals.

Planned recordings in Transylvania 1993.
That did not happen.
Released several solo albums in the 90´ies & weirding out the music industry with his prosthetic mask.
Oh those yonder days of media hypocrisy.
Became band. Band died.
Broke ribs, dreams and industry shackles, but remained free.
