Old Towers dedication to play the Song of a long forgotten ghost off-key alone is worth your time. What rubs me the wrong way is that we ain't getting anything from Crypt of the Wizard Favorite track: Zerivana - Da Vi Bygde Tårnet.

Verling Tribute albums are often hit and miss but this is filled with real quality. I've often wondered what Mortiis tracks would sound like reimagined in atmospheric black metal and there are fine examples here, though the more traditional dungeon synth tracks are also excellent. Augments and reimagines highlights from Mortiis Era 1 Favorite track: Midnight Odyssey - Ferden Og Kallet.

That did not happen.
Released several solo albums in the 90´ies & weirding out the music industry with his prosthetic mask.
Oh those yonder days of media hypocrisy.
Became band. Band died.
